
The Story of Eldi Bakery
I have always loved baking for my family and friends. When the pandemic started, I started making bagels, sticky buns, and pies and dropping them off on friends’ porches or sending them with my husband to work. Everyone wanted more and the idea of Eldi Bakery was born! I started making and selling baked goods from my home and sold at the Shoreline Farmers Market in the summer.
My husband and I are both physicians, but I left the field to raise our two young children. I take the same passion and attention to detail I gave to medicine and apply it now to baking. It is this attention to detail and love for my work that makes Eldi Bakery so special.
The name Eldi comes from spelling out the first letters of my childrens’ names, L and D. My family are my biggest supporters and most honest critics!
